What songs do you include in your performance?

Joni has released over 18 albums and composed over 170 songs. I draw on these albums for songs, from Clouds, For the Roses, Blue, Night Ride Home, Hejira, Turbulent Indigo and Shine.

Are you a solo performer?

Yes, I sing and play electric and acoustic guitar, piano and dulcimer.

Do you perform in the original guitar tuning that Joni developed?

Yes, I have studied her approach to guitar for a couple years and present her songs using her non-standard guitar tunings, including DAEGAD, DADF#AD and others.

Performance

At home singing to my cats and to you! Joni's music has given me so much, pleasure and understanding. She puts it into words. Alternate tuning DAEF#AD. This is a miniature portrait of a woman's life, someplace cold and hard and the desire to escape but never quite going anywhere.
